Even if you are not qualified by knowing the terms will make you seem as if you are.

I attended a 1 Day Bootcamp for an intro to UX/UI (User Experience) / (User Interface) .. Our teacher had worked for a LOT of tech companies including FaceBook and Google. I do not have any tech/nerd friends to learn from so it was really cool being immeresed into a tech environment for a day.

Before the coding bootcamp (I was intimidated BUT eager to learn) I knew very little about UX/UI but after attending just that 1 day Bootcamp I gained a real understanding of UX/UI, the difference between the 2 and why they are important. I also learning about how much design work goes into website functionality as well as the importance of "CLEAN CODE" and GOOD communication between Frontend Dev and Backend Dev.

I also gained some REAL WORLD knowledge / harsh realities of the tech industry. Behind the scenes type stuff.

I was able to take 9 pages of notes and wrote down as many "tech buzzwords" as I could. It REALLY helped learning from someone IN the industry and in person vs Youtube.
